While the Belgian STAR INDUSTRY gang are currently preparing a follow-up release to their much acclaimed sophomore album, “The Renegade”, they decided to offer us some nostalgic moments before the Christmas holiday… The “New Millennium EP” was actually originally released during the Summer of 1999. We are now making it available again on all digital platforms…The whole world was at that moment into this hype about the millennium, and so this was a good opportunity to release this 4 track EP as a follow up from the band’s debut, and now cult gothic rock album, “Iron Dust Crush”.
This 4-tracker contains the song “New Millennium”, but also a stunning cover version of “Kings And Queens” by KILLING JOKE. Add to this “Like A Ghost”, a very electronic minded ballad, showing a very different side of STAR INDUSTRY’s songwriting potential through a very sensitive and highly emotional track. Last but not least, this EP also features the final version of the song, “Sodium Haze” which was featured in a demo version on the “Iron Dust Crush” album…
